Here's how to get rid of those annoying apps and re-secure your Facebook Page:
First, we need to remove the app:
1. Identify the app that is causing the problems.

| In this instance, its an app call Profile Watcher. |
2. Click the setting drop-down arrow in the top right hand corner of your Timeline Page.
3. Click Account Settings
4. Click Apps
5. Find the rogue app in the list and click the X next to Edit

| You will be looking for App identified in Step 1 above. |
6. Check the box to remove all activity and then click Remove
Now Change your Password:
1. Click General
2. Click Password
3. Enter your current password and your new password
Finally, run your antivirus scan to confirm that no malware or virus has been installed on your computer by the App.
